Note from Evgeny: This was one of my first compositions on piano, written in 2009. Zapad Slunce is like a mantra for me that allows me to feel light and return to childhood. The composition was written in C major. This key is said to evoke innocence, happiness and a spiritual feeling. The more I think about it, the more I think this description fits the composition and its history perfectly.
